Warby Parker recently opened a Meatpacking Annex at 819 Washington Street in addition to its Soho showroom. At the Annex, shoppers can try on the full collection of eyewear, in addition to a selection of non-prescription sunglasses that are available for purchase right there. And in true Warby Parker style, $50 eye exams will be offered on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
As a bonus, the shop will also include a rotating roster of other brands. BaubleBar will be there from January 14th through the 20th, and the accessories brand Winter Session is scheduled from the 21st through the 27th. The annex is set to close on February 28th.
Warby Parker: Eyewear with a purpose
Almost one billion people worldwide lack access to glasses. This means that 15% of the global population cannot effectively learn or work - a problem that Warby Parker is determined to address. We've partnered with non-profits like VisionSpring to ensure that for every pair of glasses sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need.
