Broadway/San Diego ~ A Nederlander Presentation, announced its stellar 33rd Season of great theatre.

The company excitedly explained, "this year, more importantly than ever, theatre lives up to its promise to take us away and teach us about life, love and other cultures - whether they are in Africa, uptown Manhattan, the Ivy League or fantastic & funny alternate realities! "A new year and a new season brings with it the spirit of hope and anticipation; and our 2009-2010 Season of hit Broadway musicals and special attractions is certain to please everyone", said Nederlander Vice President Joe Kobryner.

"From the eternal ‘can do' attitudes of ‘UCLA cheerleading grad off-to-Harvard Law School' Elle Woods in Legally Blonde The Musical, to the drop-dead non-stop laughter of Monty Python's Spamalot, it's a year of great fun," he remarked. "For the family, we have one of the great all-time animated classics 101 Dalmatians coming to life on stage; along with the latest in the gravity-defying gymnastic eye-popping kaleidoscope that is Cirque Dreams Illumination," Kobryner added.

"This year we are delighted to be presenting a season of great value to families, exemplified by the 2008 Tony Award-winning musical, In The Heights, a show that is a testament to the importance of family and being faithful to where you came from.
