Design duo Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs are their best muses: for Fall 2012, they presented a tough, downtown girl who isn't afraid to get wet in the sportif scuba silhouette that's already quite popular for Spring. Racer-backs, leather patches and other sleek touches dominated their collection consisting of a primarily New York-centric palette of black and cream. But don't fret, color-lovers: Carly & Michelle dreamed up a few cool blues of teal and cobalt (colors we've enjoyed seeing crop up for next Fall) featuring peek-a-backs and curious cut-outs a la urban warrior siren of the night. Another shining moment was their electrifying string of pewter dresses and pencil skirts that had us taking a shine to all things sleek & minimalist.
