Months before Michelle Obama gave menswear designer Thom Browne the Honor of wearing his designs to President Obama's inauguration Monday, the designer was honored with this year's Pratt Visionary Award.
Senior fashion students will show their designs at the school's fashion show at Center548 in New York and then celebrate with Browne at the event on April 25.
Previous honorees include Hamish Bowles,Catherine Malandrino, Fern Mallis, Narciso Rodriguez, Carmen Marc Valvo and Diane von Furstenberg.
