Natural beauty chain Lush has just signed a lease on a huge location on the Upper East Side. The new space at Lexington Avenue and East 61st Street will not only be a retail space, but it will be their first ever U.S. Lush Spa location.
"The second floor will be dedicated to their first day spa in the United States," a source confirmed. The brand already has spas in the UK, so based on those models we can guess on what to expect over here. For the most part, they offer normal spa services like massages and facials. But there is one treatment that sounds especially interesting: a "sound bath", which combines aromatherapy and soothing music for some meditation minus the yoga. Yes please!
No word on when the spa will be opening. Stay tuned for more details.
