The Downtown Development Authority Hosts Fashion Show in Delray Beach

The Downtown Development Authority created the Fabulous Fashion Show as an innovative way to show Delray's diverse and unique fashions. This show will take place in the heart of Downtown Delray Beach on Friday, January 18th at 7 pm. It will feature the clothing and jewelry designs from over 50 participating shops. The runway will line the center of the 500 Block on E. Atlantic Avenue.

"This will be a truly unique experience that you will not what to miss and a wonderful way to show the variety that our shops have in Delray Beach," comments Laura Simon, Associate Director, DDA. There will be VIP Seating available at the edge of the runway, providing an up close look at the fabulous fashions. Fashionistas will thrill to see the fashions of the shops and boutiques as they showcase their apparel on the "Fabulous Fashion Runway" in the heart of downtown. In addition, VIP Seats will be available at $10 donation per seat the day of the event. Donations will benefit a scholarship for the Lynn University Fashion Management program.

The Fabulous Fashion show is just one part of the Art and Fashion celebrations happening this month in Downtown Delray Beach. "This January we are showcasing the over 50 fashion boutiques and shops in Downtown Delray Beach along with fabulous artist and galleries," expresses Marjorie Ferrer, Executive Director, DDA. The Downtown Development Authority is showcasing the array of fine art and fabulous fashions available in Delray Beach, spotlighting over 50 Fashion Boutiques filled with designer brands and the finest resort wear in South Florida during the month of January. "We are taking this opportunity to share with visitors and residents what makes Delray Beach truly authentic."
