The Brilliance of Style Butler's Pernille Leschly Halle Debuts at UCOF

Last week's Annual International Fashion Spectacle, part of United Color of Fashion (UCOF) benefit, served as the U.S. debut for the brilliant Danish designer Pernille Leschly Halle, creative director and designer of ready-to-wear label Style Butler, based in Copenhagen.

Pernille was one of only eight leading designers from around the world invited to the Annual International Fashion Spectacle. The UCOF Annual Gala event provides selected designers an opportunity to showcase their work to the world fashion community during the height of NY Fashion Week. The event also served as the biggest platform to provide hands-on training to fashion students in NY.

"We are thrilled to have been invited to UCOF," said Pernille. "The show was very exciting and a great opportunity for us. Our U.S. debut gives me great confidence that Style Butler will quickly become a favorite here."

Born into a family of fashion designers, Pernille launched Style Butler was born in 2004 out of her passionate desire to create elegant, unique and exclusive women's clothing made from the highest quality fabrics.

Initially Pernille worked with cashmere, drawn to the sensuous touch and feel of the luxury fabric, as well as silk and fur. She later developed her own silk rib blend that has since become the DNA of Style Butler, combining luxury and feminine elegance with comfort.

At first, she focused on creating "Must Have" fashion stables in cashmere as well as the popular Style Butler signature seamless silk collection. However, met with high customer demand, she soon expanded the line to a full ready-to-wear collection.

Pernille's inspiration comes largely from her extensive worldwide travels as well as art, music, cinema, and of course, women. She also finds influence in the cosmopolitan lifestyle in Shanghai, where she resides with her family.

Style Butler is enjoying vast and growing popularity in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Pernille last year received the honor as one of three "Danish Entrepreneurs of the Year in China."

Today, Style Butler is sold through luxury retailers in more than 18 countries worldwide. Pernille's reputation for creating beautiful collections has been confirmed by international magazines naming Style Butler an emerging brand to watch. Now, at last, this exciting, brilliant line has reached the U.S.
