Second Time Around Opened Three More NYC Stores

Designer style is becoming more affordable in Manhattan as high-end consignment chain Second Time Around (STA) opened three more stores in the city this October. The new stores are located on the Upper East Side, the Upper West Side and Gramercy Park, and offer labels such as Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci and Diane Von Furstenberg.

The three new stores bring the company to 36 stores nationwide which will grow to 40 by year end. STA is the largest consignment chain in New York with nine locations in the city. Taking consignment upscale, STA carries the most coveted designer brands in new or like-new condition at a fraction of their original retail value. From high-end handbags to designer jewelry to premium denim, each store has a unique selection of upscale consignment. With over 50,000 active consignors across the country, STA constantly curates their exclusive inventory, promising to never be the same experience twice.

Manhattan has been a natural fit for the brand, with the company taking on new initiatives in the city. Featured as the focus of Bravo's reality television show Fashion Hunters, Second Time Around gave an inside look at the world of upscale consignment from the perspective of its Nolita store in New York City.

"Thanks to the overwhelmingly positive response to our business, our store count in New York City has been steadily increasing," says STA CEO Bill Soncini, "and next month we will open our first Long Island location in Huntington."

STA has also recently partnered with Stacy London's styling agency, Style for Hire, to offer an in-home consignment concierge service for premium high-end items. Clients with at least 50 premium high-end designer pieces to consign can request an STA or Style for Hire stylist to travel to the client's home to take the consignment to an STA location.

The new stores are located at 232 Third Avenue, 1318 Madison Avenue, and 238 W. 72^nd Street (at Amsterdam Avenue).
