Saks Loves Your Cause to Donate to Local Charities for Month of February

This February, Saks Fifth Avenue will give 5% of all registered purchases made with a Saks Fifth Avenue credit card back to charity with an initiative called Saks Loves Your Cause. The donations will benefit the local Houston chapter of The American Red Cross, Citizens for Animal Protection (CAP), and Legacy Community Health Services, keeping support within each Saks Fifth Avenue store's immediate community.

"After Saks Fifth Avenue's successful charity initiative in 2012, we're excited to be able to continue with the February promotion for the second year. We appreciate our customers' charitable involvement and again look forward to giving back locally with this exciting national program," Steve Sadove, Chairman and CEO, Saks Incorporated, said.

Customers may select between the local chapter of The American Red Cross and two other designated local charities for their 5% contribution. Registration is one simple step at point of sale linking the customer account with their chosen charity.

Saks Fifth Avenue is located at the Houston Galleria, at 5115 Westheimer. Store hours are M-Sat 10am-9pm, and Sundays 12p-7p. Bar 12 is open on Three the same as store hours, while 51fifteen Restaurant & Lounge is open Mon-Thurs 11am-10pm, Friday-Saturday 11am-11pm, and Sunday 12pm-4pm.

Saks.com will also be supporting the program, with 5% of online purchases made using a registered Saks card to a soon to be announced charity.
