Designer Director Edward Wilkerson joined the Saks Fifth Avenue" href="http://bit.ly/UqnxVi">Lafayette 148 New York team in 1998. Edward applies his creative visions to the classic aesthetic he perfected during his time designing for iconic American design houses Anne Klein & Co. and Donna Karan. A photographer and avid art collector, Edward also takes inspiration from his world travels to weave rich color schemes and vivid prints into each collection. Renowned for exceptional fit, Lafayette 148 offers an expansive selection of special sizes and employs a highly talented and experienced team of pattern makers to ensure consistency. The Meet and Greet will offer personal consultations and fittings with Edward and will be held from 3:00p-5:00pm. The UNCF event, hosted by UNCF Bright Night Sizzling Light Gala chair Merele Yarborough, will begin at 6:00pm, with a fashion show at 6:30pm, and end at 8:00pm. Both events will be held in the new WEAR NOW area on level two of the Saks store. The new WEAR NOW department offers a group of designer shops which brings a wonderful selection of Buy Now Wear Now options from country living to transitional day to night looks.
