Saks Fifth Avenue Welcomes the Holiday with State-of-the-Art Projection

WHO:           

Saks Fifth Avenue Chairman & CEO, Steve Sadove along with a special performance by the American Ballet Theatre Dancers.

WHAT:

The entire Fifth Avenue flagship comes alive with a dramatic light show projected onto the building, Snowflake Spectacular.  Snowflakes, dancers, gifts  and a Yeti interact on the façade of the New York flagship store through state-of-the art projection technology. 

The show will utilize a custom-built 6-projector system and unique musical score designed to bring the story of the Snowflake & The Yeti. The technology is made possible through accurately mapping the landmark building's details into a computer and creating a vivid 3D projection that can appear to change the features of the building itself. 

The Fifth Avenue windows will also incorporate the Snowflake and Yeti story through the journey of a fashionable holiday fantasy.  Extending the length of Fifth Avenue, the holiday windows will be a block's worth of celebration.

This year, the holiday windows are brought to you by MasterCard and Acer.
