Rick Paterno is New Highline United CEO

Highline United Holdings Ltd. named Rick Paterno to the newly created position of company president and CEO reported WWD.

Paterno will oversee Highline United's footwear brands that include Elie Tahari, Ellen Tracy, Ash, French Connection, Jean Michel Cazabat, Luxury Rebel and Julian Hakes. He most recently worked as group president of footwear at The Jones Group Inc.

In a statement on Tuesday, Paterno said. "I am thrilled to have this opportunity to play a leadership role with Highline United. [It] is a growing, dynamic company with great people and an amazing portfolio of brands."

Highline United Chairman Mark Cocozza is also very thrilled with the new addition. "[Paterno] is an experienced and talented executive with a proven track record of success and [he is] uniquely qualified for this position," he said in a statement.
