Photo Coverage: Rebecca Minkoff and Hanky Panky Sample Sales

It was a beautiful day for bargain hunting! I headed downtown to the Chelsea Market and then to 260 Fifth to check out the much antipated Rebecca Minkoff and Hanky Panky sample sales.

And what did I find? LINES! The Hanky Panky sample sale line stretched down 16th street while the Rebecca Minkoff sale went down Fifth Ave and then around to 28th St.

Once inside, the Hanky Panky sale is what you would expect if, like me, you go every year. Classic thongs are $11 a pair, and the more you buy, the cheaper they get. Night gowns were $25 (from $75) and items like lace camis were selling for only $12! If you are in need of some sexy lingerie or just the basics, this is definitely worth stopping by. Just make sure you allow yourself plenty of time.

The Rebecca Minkoff sale was utter madness. The tables were still fairly stocked when I got there at 1:30pm, but women were waiting to pay with up to 6 bags on their shoulders! And prices weren't that much cheaper than retail - $175 vs. $250 for a Crossbody Mini MAC (and most were already gone). But if you are down for a challenge and have plenty of time definitely check it out. They also were selling Rebecca Minkoff shoes and there was one small rack of clothes.
