Following a recent move from OSLO to Washington, DC, Norwegian designer Tara Milani debuted her latest collection via on-line shopping site taramilani. The designs range from everyday wear to special occasions.

In addition to ready-to-wear offerings, custom services for made-to-order designs are available for weddings and the most unique of events. The Tara Milani collection builds on a reputation of Persian and European craftsmanship, keen and exceptional selection of fabrics, embroidery and accessories. Tara was born into an artistic Tehran family and schooled in Persian interior and film set design.

Her career began immediately following her graduation as a highly-honored student of the prestigious French Fashion University School of Design in Oslo. She subsequently studied in Paris and Leon the art of embroidery and specialized application design. Within 6 months of her 1997 graduation, her clothing was being sought after by the most fashionable boutiques in the Norwegian capital city. In 1999 she opened her own store and atelier and for 10 years, until moving to the DC area recently, she has created a strong customer following for her custom-made and ready-to-wear brand of clothing. Her clientele has included those in Scandinavia and other European locations. Among her customers are those from the entertainment, business, political, diplomatic and legAl Fields. The Tara Milani brand has been featured in leading European Fashion Magazines as well as worn at Royal Family receptions and at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert.
