New York Fashion World's Ivy Kirzhner Debuts Luxury Footwear Line

Design house Saint & Libertine New York LLC is proud to debut Ivy Kirzhner's eponymous line of luxury women's footwear.  One of the youngest creative leaders in the contemporary footwear landscape, Ivy Kirzhner is introducing her 45-piece Art Deco-inspired collection for Spring 2013 at the Empire Hotel during New York Fashion Week.

Each style features rich and unique elements such as Ivy's signature cloisonne metalwork on heels and platforms, exotic leather fabrications, and bold architectural ornamentation using fine Austrian crystals in modern finishes and 18K-gold plated hardware.  All of the opulent detailing is contained within elegantly streamlined silhouettes that are surprisingly effortless to wear.

"Being raised in New York City's cultural kaleidoscope as a Phillipine-born American and now traveling frequently throughout Europe and Asia for work, I've developed an eclectic worldview that is reflected in my aesthetic," Ivy says.  "For my footwear collection, I wanted my designs to fuse elements of timeless luxury with a nod to historic iconography and world antiquities."

Ivy began her career at the age of twenty after graduating Summa Cum Laude in Accessories Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology.  She went on to design for and successfully launch over 25 domestic and international contemporary footwear brands over the past decade, including Dolce Vita where as Designer and Creative Director, she propelled the company to rapid growth and national prominence. 

In her current role as Designer and Creative Director of BCBGMAXAZRIA Footwear at the Camuto Group, Ivy led the brand's resurgence in the footwear market through her designs, garnering the line several editorial lauds for their most recent Fall and Spring collections.

With prices starting at $325 for her signature ornamental ballerina flats to $695 for crystal-detailed high-heel metal wedges, Ivy aims to provide a unique access to luxury, while carving a niche in the market with her youthfully modern and tasteful approach to classic contemporary-luxury footwear.
