Latin Fashion Week hopes to revolutionize the Washington Convention Center and take possession of the DC runway with the latest fashions. Latin Fashion Week's theme of OLA! 2012 celebrates art, music, style, people and multiculturalism that distinguishes the way DC highlights local, international Latin and Latin inspired talented designers.

Unlike previous years this year OLA! 2012 features a closing party every day. Featuring artists like Andy Andy, Paquito Guzman, Meny Sabel not limiting our local artist; such as break dancers and singers who will present their latest album. Similarly, Latin Fashion Week family joins Gallery Expo who has an exhibition of local and international business, which this year will be receiving a committee of the Colombia Chamber of Commerce," to create business ties with the U.S.," said Sobeidy Vidal, President and CEO of Latin Fashion Week.

Participating renowned designers includes but does not limit Mia Elliott, Tim Bradley, Mayerly Rodriguez, Ilka Harrygan, Emily Gonzaga, Cesar Alcocer, Edith Carey, Geova Rodriguez, Mario Gallegos Jr., Kleber Zambrano, Rosita Hurtado and Jaggy Owl. This event serves as a springboard for designers of high fashion looks in America. Latin fashion week is interested in uniting diversity as our designer's line up to focus/truly represent the International fashion power house; constantly showcased in every Latin fashion Week event.

Latin Fashion Week is organized to involve the art community, new talents, encourage new trends, and styles; making the audience part of the event. Every production brings about many new challenges at hand, but they are filled with many adrenalines and a thrilling excitement to out shine and create a spectacular event.

Latin Fashion Week organization aims to open doors for local talent in international fashion venues. Latin Fashion Week recently received an invitation from one of the major Dubai PR firms, which are interested in opening their doors to foreign companies and events with a strong cultural focus. Latin Fashion Week prides itself very much that they were recently invited to present and showcase their designers to join the event in Dubai. "This invitation gives us the certainty that we are on the right track, walking the avenues to achieve our goal," said Vidal.

This year Latin Fashion Week counts with the support of the Greatest Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. In addiction Latin Fashion Week is honored to be part of the Art4All and their 40 organization members, who will highlight the best of art for an entire month, from September to October the nation's capital speak one language Fashion. A portion of the proceeds will go to LUZs Foundation; which allows low-income youth lead a higher education in the arts.
