Joslyn Center Runway Benefit to Feature Dr. Ritu Chopra, Mary Bono Mack, Bianca Rae, 4/4

Joslyn Center announces its 3^rd Annual Runway Event benefit taking place on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in the Las Palmas Ballroom from 11:30am-2:30pm.    

The luncheon program will include a performance by the Joslyn Strummers ukulele group, fashion accessory vendors, fabulous gift basket raffles, the Merritt & Penny Joslyn Awards for service to the Joslyn Center, Dr. Ritu Chopra as guest speaker on the topic of 21^st Century Skincare: Eastern Wisdom & Western Advances, and a fashion show featuring emerging designers from Los Angeles.  Dr. Chopra is an eminent plastic surgeon, skincare specialist, and frequent guest star on “The Doctors” television program.

The Honorary Chair of the event is Congresswoman Mary Bono Mack.  The program will be emceed by Bianca Rae from KESQ News Channel 3.  The Merritt & Penny Joslyn Award Honorees, respectively, are Willie Rhine, General Manager, Lulu California Bistro & Aqua Pazza California Bistro; and Katrina Heinrich-Steinberg, Franconia Investments, LLC.  

The emerging Los Angeles designers are Jeanetta / JM Dancesport, Gaby Jimenez, Rose La Grua, JJ Onyx, and Krystal Savanella.

Joslyn Center Members $40 - VIP Seating $85

General Admission $50 VIP - Table for 10 $1,000

Tickets may be purchased at the Joslyn Center, reserved over the phone (760-340-3220 x107) or by email (rsvp@joslyncenter.org), and picked up at the Joslyn Center.
