Joanna Coles Fires Most of Her Cosmo Staff

There has been a lot of movement in the magazine world.  Racked is reporting that Elle confirmed that style director Kate Lanphear be leaving along with two senior accessories editors.  And Cosmopolitan's newest ed-in-chief Joanna Coles laid off nine staffers. 

The Cut reports that official statement was "New incoming editors in chief often want to form their own teams. We will be announcing more new hires shortly."
