Jenna Lyons appeared on the Today Show this morning along with Thom Browne and Jason Wu, to discuss the First Lady's fashions for the weekend of inaugural festivities. Lyons told Matt Lauer that "the lady day coat that Malia was wearing has been in our line for years, and we'll continue that, but we'll retire the color[...] just out of respect for the first family."
Also, the J.Crew has no plans to put into production the blinged out bridal sash that Michelle Obama refashioned into a belt. Lyons explained, "She did her own thing to that, and out of respect, we'll let her have her that moment."
