Get an Inside Look at Post Christmas Sales

Christmas is over. You are done with all of the holiday shopping for friends, family, loved ones, coworkers, neighbors etc. Now, it's time to take whatever energy you have left and take full advantage of the after-Christmas sales! It's the time of year where markdowns are so good that you must indulge yourself.

Here are the best after-Christmas sales at all the top department stores:

Barneys: Fall clothing, shoes, and accessories are marked down up to 60% off. Prices will naturally be the lowest at the Co-op, but the designer floors will have steep deals as well.

Saks: The after-Christmas sale at Saks is arguably the wildest of them all. Before noon, sale merchandise was an additional 50% off, bringing the total savings to 70% off. The additional discount dropped to 40% off after that.

Bergdorf Goodman: Markdowns are up to 60% off. That applies to the women's and men's collections, and the shoe and accessories department also boast unspecified "savings."

Bloomingdale's: The post-holiday discounts at Bloomingdale's are serious. At their sale, you can save up to 75% off women's and men's clothing, accessories, shoes, and fine jewelry.

Henri Bendel: The winter sale at Henri Bendel is broken down into three tiers: 50% off, 40% off, and 30% off. In comparison, the bargains aren't exactly mindblowing, but still worth checking out.

Lord & Taylor: The sale over at Lord & Taylor is a little confusing - different categories get different markdowns. Fall coats are 60% off, women's and men's sale sportswear is an additional 50% off, and handbags are 60% off.

Macy's: The two-day specials ends on the 27th, and include deals on everything from women's clothing to home goods. There are also a lot of random little side-sales happening, like 30% off lingerie (apparently their biggest sale in that department of the season) and $10 off denim.
