Imagine walking through your hotel lobby and seeing ten gorgeous models accompanying a Victoria's Secret Angel walk past you. Last Thursday, the posh and luxurious Mondrian Hotel South Beach, Miami gave its guests just that experience. This exclusive event was covered by former "10 Jeans" model Roxanna "Rox" Cella. Rox was the only reporter to get access, for her TV show, with Victoria's Secret publicity executive while spending an afternoon with Victoria's Secret Angel at the Mondrian Hotel's private luncheon, champagne and make up tips. The topic was the launch of the perfume campaign for Victoria's Secret Bombshell.
The super model tour will be at exclusive hotels and Victoria's Secret Boutiques in: South Beach, New York, Chicago, Toronto, and Dallas. Bombshell is a Summer Limited-edition Eau de Parfum, which retails at $49 (Body Mist $25). Part of Rox' day was spent with Alessandra Ambrosio who just finished a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2011 Campaign alongside super models Isabeli Fontana, Maryna Linchuk & Izabel Goulart. During her stay Rox asked Alessandra, (both entered the modeling world as teenagers) what the definition of a "Bombshell" meant to the modeling world. Alessandra Ambrosio has worked with Victoria's Secret and has appeared on national television shows such as, "Tyra Banks" and was the first spokes model for Victoria Secret's "PINK" line. Alessandra was born in Erechim, Brazil (Italian, Polish and Brazilian descent). Ambrosio was also selected by AskMen.com as Number 2 out of the "Top 99 Most Desirable Women in the World." Alessandra who is among rare and talented beauties: Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo, Marissa Miller, Lindsay Ellingson, Rosie Huntington, Miranda Kerr, Lily Aldridge, Erin Heatherton, Candice Swanepoel, among the Victoria Secrets models are the best in the world. Last year they ran an international campaign to find the next best model, but they did not have anyone who came out that fit the mold.
"I shot a campaign at the Mondrian Hotel during its opening a few years ago. That same photo is now the cover of my own magazine which reaches over a million media impressions each month," says Rox Cella. Major news and several thousand blogs around the world pick up Rox' articles which are focused on an editorial calendar. Only a handful of sponsors of her television show titled "Rox World" are given the additional exposure. The Victoria's Secret Summer 2011 "Bombshell" campaign is not just a photo shoot with the most beautiful models in the world; its a day to remember.
