Fashion Photo of the Day 2/26/13 - Amy Adams

I have already named my Best Dressed of the Oscars but now I am picking my favorite fashion change of the night. I love how the stars opt for a different dress to attend many parties following the awards. Some go for a short number, some opt for something a little more comfortable, like Anne Hathaway. But for Amy Adams, she went one from one stunning Oscar de la Renta gown to another.

I love that these dresses are night and day different from each other. On the one hand you have this soft, romantic, princess moment. Adams floated down the red carpet in a sea of blue chiffon, all ruffles, loose up-do and diamonds. She literally looked like she was floating. Then ba-baam! Adams tightened her up-do and went from soft and romantic to sexy and sleek. She changed into a gold, beaded gown reminiscent of the 1920's with amazing fringe and a belt. I love the freedom of the second dress, and despite not winning, Adams looks like she was ready to party!
