Fashion Photo of the Day 2/18/12 - Olivia Palermo

Olivia Palermo shows no fear in mixing bold prints and colors at the Temperley show during London Fashion Week. Palermo, no stranger to high fashion, looked effortlessly chic and demure in the cardigan sweater set and skirt. Palermo spoke to Elle about her bold print choices.

When asked about her outfit she said, "My skirt is from one of my picks on Piperlime, my shoes are Manolo Blahnik, my belt is BCBG, and my top is Tibi....I always mix prints. I kind of feel creative when I do it. [My advice would be to] add a bit of color in what you're wearing. I think it lightens up your mood."

I love not only her mix of prints and color but her range of designers. To me, a successful look is being able to take different components and put them together in a new and unexpected way. Palermo never disappoints! Her mix of patterns worked together so beautifully because they were never in competetion with each other, and they all had the black and white as their foundation. This outfit just increased my love for her even more!
