Dame Helen Mirren looked smashing in purple as she accepted her star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. It's been reported how thrilled she was to see her star right next to fellow British actor Colin Firth. Those Brits have to stick together!

I think she looked absolutely chic, stunning, sophisticated, polished...the list goes on. Ms. Mirren can do no wrong in my book. The leather coat is almost the identical color of the well tailored dress, which makes the look appear like a suit. I love it all down to the nude pumps. The color is fresh and, let's be real, looks great next to the red carpet as she so elegantly posed next to her star. Love it!
