Fashion Photo of the Day 12/6/12 - Anne Hathaway

Yesterday's Fashion Photo featured Amanda Seyfried in a glamorous Balenciaga gown.  She looked sexy, chic and sophisticated.  At the same premiere for the same film, Anne Hathaway wore a Givenchy silk beaded, I don't know what.  

 

I adore Anne Hathaway and her usually spot on fashion sense.  Her classic beauty evokes old Hollywood glamour without any effort.  But this Givenchy gown missed the mark for me.  It's like two different dresses.  The front has far too much going on with the high neck, billowing sleeves, buttons and beading.  And then the back is this gorgeous, sexy, flirty gown that screams Anne Hathaway.

 

I am confused by this creation!  If Givenchy had simplified the front this could have been a home run.  Regardless, I forgive you Anne.  You still look beautiful, just please never ever wear something like this again.
