Fashion Photo of the Day 12/27/12 - Demi Lovato

As 2012 is winding down, I wanted to look at two big hair trends of the year and debate whether they should stay strong in 2013 or quietly find a back door of 2012 and slip out. Demi Lovato, known for her young, cool aesthetic, is no stranger to either trend.

Technicolored hair. Below, Demi is rocking both the technicolored trend with the ombre look. Personally, I am not a fan. But, on the right person, and I think Demi is case in point, it looks really fun and funky. I am not for full on bright colors everywhere and would prefer to see the trend shutter as we welcome in the new year. But if Demi were to show a little pop of color here and there, I wouldn't be mad.

Oversized Bun: I love the oversized bun. I wear the oversized bun all the time. To me, it is not only chic, but it is a lifesaver on rainy, humid days. Below, Demi looks classic and elegant with hers and I think it's very youthful. I don't care what other people say, I think they are great!
