Fashion Photo of the Day 12/11/12 - Anne Hathaway

Anne Anne Anne...What am I going to do with you?  I was so very excited to see what you wore to last night's Les Miserable NYC premiere.  Another Givenchy creation?  A romantic Oscar de la Renta gown?  Or maybe something with create architectural lines by Zac Posen.

 

Nope.  Ms. Hathaway came dressed in a sleek black Tom Ford high fashion gown.  Let me start with the positives.  Here hair and makeup are flawless.  It was a humid, rainy evening in NYC so slicking back her hair and playing up drama with a deep red pout was brilliant.

 

Now, the negatives....Anne!!  You look like you belong on the red carpet for the next installment of The Matrix not Les Miserables!  Clearly, the young starlet is having another full sleeve/side wing moment.  But the high, stirrup garder sandals?  I can definitely live without.  I imagine this dress would look ten times better if she lost them!
