Fashion Photo of the Day 11/25/12 - Nicki Minaj

I know, Nicki Minaj is not the first person I think of when I think "fashionable."  But I want you to look past the shocking pink wig and suit color - if you can.

 

Color aside, the cut of this suit is great and I love the whimsical blouse underneath.  If you were to put this suit, pink and all, on someone like Chloë Sevigny it would look fashion forward and chic.  Minaj's styling faux pas is that she went too pink with the hair, shoes and makeup instead of allowing the suit to be it's own statement.  But, I wouldn't expect anything less from Minaj because it fits within her character.
