FASHION FORWARD! Benefitting DIFFA Announces Winner of Solo Show

The Time Out New York Lounge will present the winner of the weekly competition, Fashion Forward, New York's only fashion design competition / AIDS benefit - Wednesday June 22nd (at 10:30 PM) at New World Stages: Travis Oestreich.

For four weeks, a fabulous runway show of emerging NYC designers presented their looks and competed against each other. All designs were auctioned off at the end of each night with proceeds going to DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS), along with the proceeds from the door.

Minnesota native, Travis Oestreich moved to New York City to pursue and explore his need to create. As a fashion designer, Travis has interned and freelanced for John Varvatos, solidifying his knowledge of fit standards and high clothing quality. Travis also works at LisaGabrielle Digital Media Group in which he styles clients for numerous events, getting to know and work with many important people in the industry.

The Ultimat After-Party, sponsored by Ultimat Vodka, takes place after every show at the Time Out New York Lounge from 12:30am - 3am. Fashion Forward began Wednesday, May 4th. There is a $5 cover charge which will also be donated to DIFFA. The Time Out New York Lounge is located at New World Stages, 340 West 50th Street (between Eighth & Ninth Avenues).

The winner was determined each week by audience votes. Hosted by Valentine, along with celebrity guests and live entertainment, this has been the hottest new fashion event of the year! The Time Out New York Lounge also features HAPPY HOUR Monday through Friday evenings from 8pm to 10pm: your second drink is free! There are Drink Specials every night as well!! There's never a cover or minimum!
