Nail art has become as important an accessory as your shoes, jewelry and handbag. There are so many brands and style to choose from OPI to Butter, gel shellac to crackles. And now, Essie has joined the party and released a line of magnectic polish.
The new "Repstyle" collection features magnetic polishes whose overall effect kind of looks like reptile skin. There are six shades to choose from including a deep red, metallic silver and hunter green. They retail for $11.25 a bottle and are very easy to use. Just paint your nails then wave the magnetic top over your wet polish.
Does this mean that Essie is going to experiment more into textured polishes? I expect not. This is a huge step for the classic brand who's Ballet Slipper remains one of the most popular colors to date. It was just last year that they released glittery top coats!
