Dry Goods Opens First Location in Iowa

DRY GOODS opened its newest location at Jordan Creek Town Center in West Des Moines, Iowa. The 4,000-square-foot store is the women's specialty chain's first location in Iowa and eighth DRY GOODS store overall.

Known for offering customers the latest in contemporary women's clothing and accessories, the store – which will host its grand opening event Saturday, November 10 with in-store giveaways – features products from leading brands such as Hudson, Jessica Simpson and Silver, among others.

Today's announcement continues the chain's strategic growth plan, focusing on further establishing its Midwestern roots and eventually expanding its presence nationwide. As a result of its growing success and popularity among customers, DRY GOODS recently launched its online business at www.drygoodsusa.com, helping to further extend its one-of-a-kind offerings to shoppers across the country.

The first DRY GOODS was opened in October 2010 in Aurora, Ill. While future locations will be primarily concentrated in Midwest-based shopping centers, the goal is to expand DRY GOODS beyond the Midwest as part of a national expansion initiative.
