WWD reported on how different the Christian Dior show felt since Raf Simmons was hired to replace Galliano. White salons named after colors - Salon Rose, Salon Bleu - with pastel curtains at the Hotel National des Invalides served as the backdrop for the show. And the show itself did not disappoint. Filled with surprises like "flyaway veilings over lean dresses, a row of sequined floral buttons down the back of a dress; a geometric bar of embroidery at the hem" kept the audience wanting more.
