Chinatown Hosts Jewelry Week

New York City's Chinatown will host its own Jewelry Week from today, February 1 to 14, 2013. Participating jewelers, listed below and on www.chinatownjewelryweek.com, will offer sweetheart deals and other special promotions.

"Inspired by the success of the inaugural 2012 Chinatown Restaurant Week, local businesses, merchants, and Kaimen Company present Chinatown Jewelry Week, the first of its kind, to showcase the high quality, selection, culture, and history of Manhattan's oldest jewelry district. This district is home to jewelers of diverse ethnic backgrounds who built their names and reputations in the business across multiple generations," said lead organizer Julie Huang, Kaimen Company President, and community resident. "With both the Lunar New Year and Valentine's Day happening just days apart, visitors will fall in love with the rich heritage of this legendary community, the experience of jewelry shopping for 'Sweetheart Deals,' and the spectacular pageantry of the Lunar New Year celebrations during the 2013 Chinatown Jewelry Week."
