Beylerian Collection Debuts Handcrafted Briefcases at the MRKET Global Fashion Trade Show

The Beylerian Collection of briefcases will be featured in the VANGUARDS GALLERY (Booth # 454), an incubator for new and emerging brands curated specifically for attendees. The collection was designed for the on-the-go executive, providing easy access to the briefcase contents, and still be considered as an elegant accessory for those attending after-office events. Most of the collection is available in 5 distinctive colors (Black, White, Red, Mocha, Hunter Green and Yellow) providing a color to fit every busy professional's wardrobe.

The briefcase collection is designed by Keiichiro Yuri, who has created a product line with outstanding quality and intelligent interior compartments. The collection was the winner of the prestigious European IF Product Design Award. It features a real wood handle, metal locking clasp, internal aluminum frame, expanding pockets, room for a 15" laptop, and space for a myriad of personal and business accessories. It also features a zippered, net pocket for various small objects. The materials used are the unique resource of Japanese technology, scratch resistant skin, lustrous, yet discreet.

Mr. Beylerian is best known for his extensive career in design and materials for over 40 years. He has taken his love of art, design and culture and developed the Beylerian Collection to represent his unique eclectic style and taste for luxury to the whimsical and to share his curiosities with the world.

As a retailer, curator, author and founder of some of the most forward thinking design companies of the 20th century, including introducing Kartell to the United States; having his Beylerian Ltd. contract collection be the creative arm of Steelcase's Design Partnership and ultimately founding Material ConneXion in 1997. George produced such ground breaking exhibitions as "Edible Architecture, Women of Design, Chairmania, Mondo Materialis", and others. "Mondo Materialis", an experimental exhibition with materials, became the inspiration for creating "Material ConneXion".
