Almar Sales Company, a leading manufacturer of fashionable accessories, cosmetics and princess dress-up, is teaming up with Beyond the Rack, North America's premier online retailer to raise funds and awareness for CureSearch for Children's Cancer.
In recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Beyond the Rack will host a 7-day promotion from which a portion of proceeds will benefit CureSearch for Children's Cancer, a national non-profit with which the retailer has a close affiliation. Consumers will be able to shop the site for daily deals from September 20th to 27th for products from Princess Expressions and Expressions by Almar, two of Almar's leading brands. Together they will offer dresses, cosmetics, tutus, accessories, bags, jewelry, hair accessories and watches to raise necessary funds for research.
"Almar Sales Company is a family company founded by my grandfather over 45 years ago. Charity was very important to him and he always had a heart to help the unfortunate, which is why it is important for us to follow our founding principles by donating to children's cancer research programs like CureSearch to help other families keep their hopes and dreams for a cure alive," said Jackie Ashkenazie, Vice President of Business Development.
"So many of our families have been directly affected by cancer," said Beyond the Rack CEO Yona Shtern. "We are proud to join the fight alongside our friends at Almar."
A portion of the proceeds from every product purchased will go to the organization, plus the companies will match the first $5,000 of funds donated by customers. "While the overall survival rate for children's cancer has increased from 10 to 80 percent, for many types of children's cancer the survival rate is much less," said Albert Roy, Vice President of Operations for CureSearch. "We thank Beyond the Rack for their support and dedication to ensure that one day no child is diagnosed with cancer."
